Jerome Julier is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, responsible for leading Aecon's financial strategy – focusing on strategic initiatives, commercial opportunities, and positioning Aecon for success in dynamic markets. He provides executive oversight for Aecon’s Corporate and Operational Finance teams, Corporate Development and Investor Relations teams, as well as Information Services and the Business Program Management Office.
Mr. Julier brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience in finance, strategy, and capital markets with a significant focus on industrial businesses in the construction, engineering, and transportation sectors. Prior to joining Aecon, he served as Managing Director and Co-Head of CIBC Capital Markets’ Global Diversified Industries investment banking practice. He previously served as a trusted advisor for several of Aecon’s clients, partners and peers in the domestic and international engineering and construction markets and worked closely with Aecon on key transactions including the divestiture of Aecon Transportation East and the strategic investment by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. in Aecon Utilities.
Mr. Julier holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD in France and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is fluent in English and French.
