Tyler Madigan is Senior Vice President, Performance, Civil, with responsibility for improving performance across Aecon’s Civil operating sector by overseeing Continuous Improvement, Project Controls, Integrated Digital Delivery, Integrated Management Systems, Project Performance Monitoring, Risk and Commercial Management.
Tyler is a proud second-generation construction worker with over 30 years of industry experience having joined Aecon in 2015, serving as Vice President and Managing Director of Aecon’s SA Energy Group joint venture. Prior to joining Aecon, he held the role of Vice President at Summit Pipeline Services, served in project management and engineering positions with TransCanada and the Ministry of Transportation Ontario, and held progressively more senior roles across a diverse range of pipeline and general construction projects.
Tyler holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree (First Class Standing) from Lakehead University, and has completed Masters of Engineering (Project Management) courses at the University of Calgary. Tyler is a founding member of the Energy Connections Canada Board of Directors and a past Board Chair. He currently serves as a member of the CSA Z662 (Oil and Gas Pipeline Systems) Technical Subcommittee on Construction. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geoscientists of Alberta and the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
