Eglinton Crosstown LRT

Toronto, Ontario

Creating reliable and faster service, the Eglinton Crosstown LRT will run along Eglinton Avenue between Mount Dennis (Weston Road) and Kennedy station. This 19-kilometre corridor will include a 10-kilometre underground portion, between Keele Street and Laird Drive and will have 25 stations and stops.

Following a competitive process, Crosslinx Transit Solutions (CTS), a consortium consisting of Aecon and project partners ACS Infrastructure Canada, EllisDon, and AtkinsRéalis was awarded a contract in July 2015 for the design, build, finance, maintenance and lifecycle activities for a 30-year maintenance term, under a Public-Private Partnership (P3) model. Each member of the Crosslinx consortium, including related construction and maintenance affiliates, is an equal partner with a 25 per cent interest in the equity, development, construction and maintenance activities of the project.
