Kashechewan Ring Dyke Stabilization

This project in Kashechewan, Ontario involved the installation of fill materials and owner-supplied concrete erosion protection units to stabilize 640m of riverbank along the Albany River. The Indigenous Community of Kashechewan supplied about 85% of the labour on the project, as well as some of the necessary equipment. Other equipment was supplied by Cree-Aski Construction of Moose Factory. The balance of equipment and manpower was supplied by Alarie.
